Is very important to always have fresh clean water for your rodents as well as high quality food. This is important for healthy rodents it will also help with the bad odors asociated with breeding and keeping rodents.

 

As Bedding you should always use Aspen  Pine is ok but from expirience i have noticed that Aspen works best. Its super absorbent and it helps keep the bad odors at a minimun.
